Terms of Service

Effective July 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of PlanShopChop, on the web and in our mobile apps. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

PlanShopChop helps you import, organize, and generate recipes, plan meals, build grocery lists, and cook step by step. Some features use artificial intelligence, and some features require a paid subscription.

Your account

You need an account to use PlanShopChop. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

Subscriptions and billing

• PlanShopChop offers paid plans (Basic and Unlimited) billed through Stripe.
• New accounts start with a free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before it does.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Billing; your plan stays active through the end of the period you've paid for.
• Prices may change; if they do for your plan, we'll tell you before you're charged at the new rate.

Your recipes, your responsibility

PlanShopChop is your kitchen assistant, not a recipe publisher. When you import a recipe — from a website, a photo, or text — you confirm you have the right to use it for personal purposes (recipes from cookbooks you own, family recipes, sites that allow personal use, or your own creations). If you share a recipe with others, you confirm you have the right to share it. We're the organizer, not the source.

You own your content. You grant us the license we need to store, process, and display it to run the service — nothing more. Deleting your account deletes your content.

AI features

Recipes and lists produced by our AI features are generated automatically and may contain errors. Use your judgment in the kitchen: verify cooking times and temperatures, check ingredients against allergies and dietary restrictions, and follow safe food-handling practice. PlanShopChop is not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no scraping other users' data, no using the AI features to generate unlawful content, and no reselling access.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We can also discontinue features or the service; if you have paid for time you don't receive, we'll refund the unused portion.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and note the change here. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
